Daily Feline Prompt: Study Abroad

If you were asked to spend a year living in a different location, where would you choose and why?

Fluffy

“Look Tabby, here I am abroad.”

“Fluffy, that is not abroad, that is just around the corner when Mr. Human took you for a walk.”

“But I am sure it was abroad. It smelt different to our home.”

“Fluffy abroad is when you have to show your passport to cross the border.”

“What’s a passport Tabby?”

“It a book with your photo, your name, your birth date and your citizenship.”

“Ah, what’s citizenship, that doesn’t exist in meow.”

“Oh, forget it Fluffy, just use your vaccination card.”

“What’s…..”

“Fluffy, don’t ask too many questions. You know once a year we go to that guy in the white coat that holds you down and puts things in our private parts and jabs you and we all go “hiss”, well he gives Mrs. Human a vaccination card.”

“What’s on the vaccination card.”

“I am not sure Fluffy, but I think he gets Kudos for doing all that stuff, because Mrs. Human always complains about how much it costs.”

“But Tabby I don’t want to go, you don’t want to go, and Mrs. Human doesn’t want to pay, so why do we do it all.”

“That is the question Fluffy, but apparently it is supposed to be good for you.”

“So now we both have a vaccination card, can we go abroad?”

“Fluffy do you like sitting in the car going to that guy in the white coat?”

“No, not really I would rather be at home.”

“Exactly, then why do you want to go abroad. Home is where the whiskers are, it stands in the book of Bastet chapter 999, verse 22.”

“Oh, of course, then let’s stay here. I bet you don’t get tuna fish abroad.”

  1. Hi Tabby and Fluffy — my human took me abroad. It was exciting and scary at the same time. Now I’m abroad and it seems pretty much like where I was before I went abroad. I find this very confusing. Your pal forever, Dusty T. Dog
