Daily Feline Prompt: We are feline rocks

Is it easy for you to ask for help when you need it, or do you prefer to rely only on yourself? Why?

Fluffy - I smell snow

“What’s help Tabby?”

“Doesn’t exist in meow Fluffy, something human like when Mrs. Human cleans our recycling tray and Mrs. Human tells her he will do it for her.”

“So if we told Mrs. Human we will clean our own recycling tray, that would be help?”

“No, that would be stupidity. Felines do not stoop so low as to clean their own recycling tray. Imagine all those splashes you fabricate when you spray. At least we females make a tidy round ball. Mrs. or Mr. Human can just scoop it up and they have to scratch your remainders out of the corners of the tray. Yesterday you scored full points Fluffy.”

“I know. They had to do an emergency emptying process in the tray as Mrs. Human found there was a strange smell, although to me it seemed normal.”

“Of course it was normal, it just so happened that it was the time when Mrs. Human goes to that place called bed.”

“Aha, yes I see. If the humans just curled up and slept like we do, there would not have been a problem.”

“There is always a problem with humans, but as you say it is their problem.”

“In the book of Bastet, chapter 312 verse 26 it says “Just do your own thing. If your humans have completed their feline assistance course, they will take care of everything. If not, think about changing your human.”

  1. Dear Tabby and Fluffy, Wow, this is a place where dogs and felines are different. I was trained to help my human get up if she falls. If she says, “Help me, Dusty,” I feel very happy and proud because she needs me. Sometimes she says it and she doesn’t need my help; she just wants me to be with her. Mindy seems more feline because she doesn’t help anyone, but we help her get up into the car. Yours always, Dusty T. Dog

    • hi Dusty
I suppose it is all a matter of how you look at it. If Mrs. Human has problems they are her problems. If we felines have problems, then the humans are there to do something about it. “Tabby what’s pride?” “Like when you finish a dish of tuna in five minutes?” The word just not really exist in Meow, it is a word 2nd degree. My humans also put me in the car in a cage. That is one of the reasons the word “help” does not exist in meow. No feline is helped being put in a car.

      • Hi Tabby and Fluffy, Another difference! I jump up into the car myself and wait until my human gets in and then we go somewhere. I always hope it’s not the vet. Yours always, Dusty T. Dog

Ah, yes! We humanz have lots to learn about what does and doesn’t exist in “meow”. We humanz ask each other for help all the time, except for me. I take up after the felines being independent, sometimes when it comes to feeding time.
