What is your favorite sweet thing to eat? Bread pudding? Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies? A smooth and creamy piece of cheesecake? Tell us all about the anticipation and delight of eating your favorite dessert. Not into sweets? Tell us all about your weakness for that certain salty snack.
It is really time that they would bring a decent subject for a feline prompt. How am I supposed to tell everyone what my favourite sweet thing is when I am not equipped to taste sweet things. At least the sweet part should be mixed with so much whipped cream, yogurt and perhaps a garnish of tuna fish to make it interesting.
Of course I like something completely different now and again. In the evening Mrs. Human often partakes of a bag of potato chips. Now I love potato chips if the correct flavour, so I sit and wait with the pleading “it’s my turn” look in my wonderful big green eyes and the human cannot resist. It is all a matter of training of course, but eventually she realises that her favourite feline is in need of something completely different and she scatters a chip in my direction: only one chip not wanting to overdo it. As you can see in the photo Mrs. Human was enticing me with a potato chip. Unfortunately it was the wrong flavour, something with herbs. The only herb I like is catnip herb and they are still working on that in the feline food development centre. It seems there are problems with the combination of the catnip and using the right salt to ensure that the high flying effect remains in the catnip.
To digest a potato chip correctly it has to be licked at least five minutes. This softens the potato substance and it can then be digested in our delicate stomach.
Perhaps tonight is my lucky evening and Mrs. Human will open a bag of potato chips. Otherwise I will have to be satisfied with those hard vitamin filled pellets which are so good for you according to the human logic.
Hahaha it is hilarious!
I wonder where catnip got its feline name from!
Your every post is a joy to read!
Love and light ❤

Cat nip is actually a type of mint plant, but for some unknown reason it acts like a drug on cats. they roll in it and get quite high.

All my cats loved cataloupe, er cantaloupe 🙂 They would pull the skin out of the trash and chew on it for hours. Eventually, we gave them their own little dish of cut-up melon pieces. They liked honey dew too. And watermelon. The dogs are CRAZY about watermelon. Nice that there is consistency in our world 🙂

It’s not something I regularly buy, but I now might try it to see the reaction, altough I do not really want a diabetic cat. A friend of mine had one, and that is a problem.
