Daily Feline Prompt: Provoking Feline

Tabby

Just look at me, so sweet
My whiskers straight and looking neat
How could you think that I am mean
I make sure that all is clean
The scratches on the table leg?
I was searching for my easter egg
Or perhaps I was sharpening my claws
After all it was for a very good cause
I do not provoke, I am the innocence pure
I do my best to be quite sure
And if I produce a real hair ball
They are very neat and do not crawl
I do my best as a feline to be very good
But many of my actions are just misunderstood.

  1. Hi Tabby, Polar Bear Yeti T. Dog here. I understand completely. I dug a GREAT hole so I could hide the skin of my dead toy and my human yelled at me, “Dammit, Bear, don’t dig!” She was provoked because she just didn’t understand that if I DON’T hide the toy’s skin, someone else will find it! I don’t think human’s understand the priorities of four-legged beings AT ALL. Your pal, PBYT.Dog

    • We must understand the humans. They are still in the primitive stages. They might be able to go to the moon, but they have not discovered the joy of burying dead toys or even bones. As a feline I must add that we only really bury our recycled matter, but I suppose that it is the difference between feline and canine.
