Feline RDP Wednesday: Feline Mystery

“Ir’s a mystery to me Tabby, how a feline can sleep so long.”

“And it’s a mystery to me how humans only sleep at night, for a few hours Mrs. Human.”

“But I feel refreshed when I wake up Tabby.”

“That is not true, I have often heard you talking to Mr. Human about not having a good night’s sleep and waking up.”

“That is normal Tabby, sometimes I sleep well and sometimes I am awake. Not to mention when a feline starts scratching on the door and meowing when I am dropping off to sleep.”

“They are the moments when I am awake Mrs. Human and need attention from my human slave.”

“But what about the disturbance of my sleep. I get up to see if anything is wrong and you are sleeping.”

“I am just doing a check to see if you are there when I need you.”

“Thanks Tabby, but I prefer to sleep.”

“Then do it as I do. Just settle down, close your eyes and there you are.”

“It does not exactly work that way with humans Tabby.”

“That is what I always say, Humans are imperfect in their compilation. We felines have no problem. And we always have an ear open in case there is danger. Although I have my own human to take care of dangerous situations. And now I have to sleep, I still have 6 hours to complete.”

“But you have already slept 12 hours Tabby, Tabby, Tabby. And she is sleeping again.”
